NomisPro™ combines the knowledge, principles and the innovative ideas that we have developed in the past 7 years for our previous content management systems, plus it takes into account years of feedback from our customers and developers.

NomisPro™ combines the simple, intuitive interface of Browse & Edit with a superior rendering engine and an improved site management system via a visual, editable sitemap. The feature-set has been extended to include easier file and image uploads, and a built-in image editor.

While these improvements are visible to the users, in the background we have completely re-designed the database to allow for more flexibility, improved navigation modules to make it easier and faster to define the navigation, and embedded customisable modules. We have also optimised the front-end files to deliver content up to 40 times faster, using an intelligent caching mechanism. There has been a strong focus on Search Engine Optimisation with clean html codes and support for Web2.0 features, such as RSS feeds or Google Sitemaps is built-in.

Browse & Edit

This powerful text editor enables the client to update websites easily, including new pages, images and downloadable files. It allows for full control over text, hyperlinks and image placement. Browse & Edit is easy and intuitive to use, and its full-page-wysiwyg technology shows exactly how the elements will look on the finished page.

Create a new page and select where it should be stored within your website structure – all navigation elements and sitemaps are updated in real-time, and you need not worry about adjusting any other elements other than the page you are editing.

Drag & Drop Operations

Updating the entire website structure consists of simply applying drag & drop operations on the visual site map to move pages from one section to another to change their position in the site structure. All changes take effect immediately, and navigation elements and sitemaps are updated in real-time.

Images and Files

Uploading new images and PDF, Word or other documents is as simple as dragging them onto the upload box – large images are automatically resized to a more suitable size before the upload starts, so even high-resolution digital camera image files can be uploaded in their original size. There’s also a builtin image editor, which allows you to resize, crop, rotate,brighten or darken your images.

License Model

NomisPro™ is sold via a so-called Application Service Provision model. This means that the application is accessible via the Internet only, and it resides on the web server as opposed to the client’s computer. There is a monthly charge, which includes licence fees to use the software, and covers the cost of hosting the website and email accounts as well. The price varies depending on the individual hosting space requirements.

There is a minimum contract lifetime of 6 months after activation of the site. After this, the service can be cancelled at any time with 1 month’s notice.

Hosting is provided by a specialist hosting company. The web servers are stored in a secure data-center in Sydney, Australia. Hosting accounts come with industry- leading management tools for email accounts, and include multiple, powerful webmail clients, autoresponders / vacation messages and customisable Spam filters.
